A media mashup consists of a combination of multiple sources
of media into a derivative. New collaborative media editing tools
like Kaltura make it possible for numerous individuals to collaborate in
creating collaborative media presentations, providing new opportunities for
active learning and collaboration among students. This hands-on session will
introduce the free media mashup tool Kaltura and explore best practices for
incorporating media mashup activities in the learning environment.
